Hi! I'm Desiree, and I'm a nationally recognized portrait photographer based just outside of Baltimore, MD. I specialize in photographing high school seniors, and I am passionate about helping girls and boys feel confident in front of the camera. My ultimate goal in every session is to create images that are a true reflection of you - your vibe, your style, your personality. A session with me is truly an experience from beginning to end - they are effortless and fun, and you'll leave with an added boost of confidence that you didn't even know you needed.
A NOTE FOR PARENTS...
Hey parents! Let's get real for a second... your time at home with your senior is coming to an end. In less than a year, they are going to start their next chapter - whether that be college, a trade or even entering the workforce - and you won't be spending nearly as much quality time with them. I'm going to bet that most of your "quality" time these days is spent assisting with college applications or studying for SAT's - not really my idea of quality time.
I know your list of senior "to-dos" is endless, so what if I took some of the heavy lifting off of your plate? What if instead of just checking "senior portraits" off your list, you treat your senior to a real senior portrait experience - one that celebrates this huge milestone!
My goal as your senior photographer is to create a memorable experience from beginning to end, one that's not only one of a kind, but FUN, too. I work with you to design a session that matches YOUR senior's vibe. I offer styling assistance and help with posing that looks authentic and natural. These sessions aren't just fun for the senior, they're fun for you, the parent, too! It's your chance to really marvel at this person you've raised for the last 18 years. It’s almost impossible to put into words what a senior session with Des is like - because it’s a feeling. A feeling that someone has got this and it’s going to be spectacular.
As a mom of a senior girl I can’t overstate how it felt to have Des book the makeup artist (who was spectacular, and so much fun), to have Des help my daughter finalize outfits so I could just enjoy the shopping with her without added stress, and to have Des looking out for every detail at the shoot so I could step back and soak in my daughter’s senior photo shoot. Literally every detail - from the angle of my mother’s pearls on her wrist to making sure her dimple showed up in as many shots as possible. My momma heart couldn’t have been any fuller watching my favorite girl shine behind her lens.
And then the pictures come. I knew they would be amazing but I didn’t realize how they would make me feel. So many feelings! In the end, we’ll treasure these photographs forever but it’s the entire experience that we will remember. It’s truly just pure magic to shoot with Des.

My experience with Desiree was amazing! The way she directed my poses made the process so effortless and fun, plus I look so natural in all of my photos. As a dancer, I struggle liking most photos taken of me. I tend to find something wrong with every photo, but after seeing my gallery, I love every single image. I feel like I didn’t take one bad photo!

So what exactly do I mean by that. Well, put simple, I'm your own personal hype-(wo)-man. I'm not just excited about taking your photos, but I'm dying to show you just how gorgeous you are!
I can usually be found laying on the ground or climbing on things (I'm only 5' 2") to get the perfect angle for the shot. And when we get THE shot, I'm usually screaming behind the camera while running to show you just how incredible you look. And when you see what's on the back of the camera... well 9 times out of 10, the response is usually something like, "OMG! That's really me??" Uh, yes girl, it 100% is YOU... and YOU. ARE. FIRE!
