So, if you've been following along on my photo journey this year, you are familiar with my photoshoot bucket list. This weekend I was able to check another shoot off the list... but this certainly won't be the last of it's kind.
I'm always encouraging families to select a location for their photoshoots that best fits their family's personality. Sure, every family can look gorg in a field, but I love capturing the essence of a family - what makes them tick, you know? So when I was tagged in a post on a "mom swap" page on Facebook in response to someone looking to have carnival photos taken, I was like ME ME ME!!!!
I met Nicole and her fam at the Maryland State Fair in Timonium, Maryland on the very last day! It was about 105 degrees out and super crowded. If you're familiar with Jordan Matter's 10 Minute Photo Challenge, that's a little how this shoot felt. We literally ran around the fair seeking out the coolest spots. We cut in lines, we got kicked off of ride platforms, we played games, we held up the ferris wheel line, we ate fruity pebbles candy apples (YUM!), but we got the BEST photos and had the BEST time! Here's a little peek behind our shoot!
If you've got an idea for a fun and different shoot, message me! I'd love to make your vision come to life!
