I finally have a second to catch my breath before business really kicks off this Friday with my first wedding of the year (eeeekkk). I really thought I'd have some time to catch up on my blogging since I've been a total slacker the last few months, but I've been super busy on some behind-the-scenes work and can't wait to reveal more at the end of this month (this post is a BIG hint)!
After rescheduling several times due to weather, I was finally able to get one of my dear friend's son in front of the camera to document his graduation from high school. My friend, Donna is the owner of Decorated Dreams in Abingdon, MD. If you're in need of any sweet treats for an upcoming celebration, she's your gal! Her son, Jake, graduates from Harford Technical High School this Spring (hint hint 2019 seniors... it's not too late to book your session). All three of Donna's boys attended Harford Tech, so the school has a lot of meaning to their family. Jake is also a rockstar athlete, so we wanted to make sure we could document some moments where Jake has spent a lot of his time over the past four years - the track.
I love incorporating what a senior is passionate about in these sessions. For some, this may be the last time they put on a sports uniform. I think it's important to document that.
The grounds of the school are also gorgeous with so many fun places to shoot.
Jake brought 3 different casual looks as well which makes for some great variety, especially for hanging photos around the home.
