First class of 2022 senior session? check! Meet Nicole. Nicole is an rising senior at Mercy High School and a 2022 DOP senior rep. As a senior rep, you get first priority over Des' booking schedule! Nicole decided to do her senior session shoot in mid June for peak flower season. She selected Purple Rain Lavender Farm for her shoot! This location allowed Des to rent out the farm for a whole evening, making for some killer sunset photos.
The peak senior session season is early June- late November. Senior sessions work best during this time because of the weather, lighting, and scenery! Des is already booked for summer 2021 BUT has started booking for the fall! Here is all you need to know when booking your session:
VIBE: Start by identifying the overall mood you're going for! Remember, your senior session is all about capturing you! So, make sure the vibe you select fits your personality. Examples of the vibe you may be going for include: boho, streetwear, editorial, grunge, bright, chic... the list goes on and on!
LOCATION: Once you decide on your "vibe", you'll be able to start brainstorming location ideas. You don't have to choose specific locations yet (because that's what Des is for!) but, you can think of general locations. For example, if you want to capture your boho style, you may want to go to a flower field, if you want to express your love of streetwear, you should select a city look!
PACKAGE: Now that you can start to envision your session, you should select a package! Des offers a variety of packages that cater to your number of locations and outfit needs. If you're a fashionista, you may want to choose a package with lots of outfit changes! If you can't decide between doing an in-studio session or a beach shoot, you can select multiple locations for your package! For more information about DOP senior packages, contact Des here!
